Broken Chapter 8

0I’m currently in a hotel… with a boy… How on earth did things progress so fast and I end up here you may wonder? Well, let me tell you how things went down…

1After Travis spotted the photo booth while we were on our walk in the park, we decided to go in and take some pictures…

2We switched from some cute couple poses, to some awkward pictures at a close proximity.

3Suddenly Travis twirled me into his arms and wrapped one hand around my waist while the other intertwined with my hand. I turned my face to look into his eyes and eventually turned to face him altogether.

4We stayed like that for a few moments. No speaking; just constantly looking into each other’s eyes. His gaze then dropped to my lips and he began to inch closer. I welcomed him gladly, and we then shared a long and warm kiss.

5That brings us to the present where Travis and I, in the heat of the moment, ended up here. In a hotel room… all alone.

6We didn’t even bother to go on the nice bed we just fell to the floor and continued our heated make out session.

7His head kept on tilting from left to right, pressing his lips against mine repeatedly… I could feel the heat rising to my face.

8His arm slid onto the small of my back and pressed me closer.

9His arm then began to slip lower and lower…

10He then began to kiss my cheek… then neck… then chest. He then pecked me on the lips once more before smiling and pulling away.

11I took this moment to catch my breath. I now know why Massie is constantly kissing her boyfriend every opportunity she gets… The feeling is quite spectacular.

12I noticed that he lifted his head to look at the ceiling as if he began to get lost in thought.

13“Is something wrong?” I asked. “Does your family know where you are right now?” he asked with a stern voice.

14“No…” I said while curling up defensively… How did the mood descend so quickly? “I’m sorry, that came out harsher than I intended.” he said with a smile, lowering his gaze to look at me.

15When he saw that I was resting my head on my arm with a sigh, he extended his hand to my chin and raised it so that I was looking directly into his eyes. “You should call them.” he said, “It’s getting pretty late.”

16That was the last thing I wanted to do, my family hardly even cared where I was half the time. But since I doubted any of them were home at the moment, I could just leave a message, pretending I had a normal family, and then delete it when I got home. While I was walking to the hotel room’s phone, Travis’s hand reached out towards mine and stopped me, turning me around.

17“Yeah?” I said cautiously… he was acting very strange. “On second thought… don’t call them.” he said. “Why?” I asked.

18“I have some things I want…no, need to tell you.” he said.

19“I’m all ears.” I said.

20“If I asked you to leave with me… run away with me… would you?” he said. His tone dead-serious… Well… how do you think I reacted to that?

Thanks for reading! I’m kind of curious as to where this is going myself as I’m just re-posting and not writing at the moment^^ Any ideas on what Travis is going to tell Kiara? Let me know down below~
xoxo Amy

  1. Wowzas, I was thinking that they were going very fast, so I’m glad Travis didn’t go any further. And running away… my initial thought was ‘YES!’ but then I remembered that Kiara still doesn’t know him well enough. What an interesting turn of events!

  2. Whoa! That went fast! From tour around town to photo booth to making out in a hotel. Relieved that it didn’t go further than that.

There’s a very big possibility she’d go with him, I think. Not like she’s leaving anything great behind, but I’m wondering why he’s in such a hurry… What is he running away from?
