Hello & Welcome,
I used to write a load of stories for the Sims3 back in the day, unfortunately to the probable dismay of many who would frequently check in to read and leave me a comment, I never finished. Then eventually life got hectic and I kind of stepped away. Thought the world of sims buzzed down but it’s cool to see a lot of people still very much engaged and enjoying it. Figured I’d try to repost some of my work as they would take hours to write, capture and edit – and if some are still interested or new people find it intriguing, I may or may not continue to write/finish them.
p.s As some of these were written well over 5 years ago, it’s safe to assume my writing style has changed since then; however, I’m not planning to go back and edit or tweak the stories – I’m just reposting them as they were, feel free to leave any comments or critiques.
Current (Incomplete) Stories:
Broken: Kiara is a girl from a dysfunctional family to say the least. One day she comes across the opportunity to start anew. Will she take it?
Harmonious: A boy living a lavish lifestyle encounters a girl who is unaware of his true identity. Their love of music brings them together.
Standing On My Own: Arianna, an orphan, struggles day to day to get by. She hopes to one day be able to uncover her mysterious past, once she attains stability.
The Elite: In the Lakeland Kingdom, King Stefano and his parliament decree a competition to bring about change for the betterment of the nation. Irene Charles has been chosen, and in a day’s time, she’ll be off to reside in the palace to partake in the initiative for an unknown length of time.
Current (Ongoing) Story:
Sight: Aislyn Persefoni is not like other girls, not like other people to be exact. Dubbed ‘Loose-screw Lyn’ by the townsfolk of Oldmerrow who are aware of her frequent visits to graveyards and tendency to talk to herself, she prefers to be left alone. If only the things only she can see would give her the same treatment.

I think it’s inevitable really, for all of us to eventually step away. I wonder myself, in ten years will I care about my story or pose sites? How long will I pay for my sites to stay up? Certainly not forever. Then again, how long will it be before, computers can no longer play the game, because it becomes to old for the technology. However, I enjoy writing now and creating poses relaxes me after a day of looking after my mother with dementia. After sims, I’m sure it will be something new for us. Isn’t it exciting to wonder what that may be?

Very true; in the time I’ve been away, it has already gotten difficult to get back because of changes in technology and computers advancing and not running the game as smoothly as they used to. However, my love for playing and writing outweighs the difficulties that come with attempting to play – so until that changes, I’ll probably continue to do so. Sorry to hear about your mother, as someone with a relative with the same condition, I know how difficult and heartbreaking it is to see. It is interesting to think about our future selves and what we can be doing then, hard to believe it’s already been 8 years since I first picked up the game, remarkable how time flies~ thanks for stopping by 🙂

Before sims, I created educational activities for children. I’m a teacher, if you didn’t get a chance to see that and while I owned my own school, I was passionate for all things children. However after 24 years, I was ready to move on and today I am gathering all my teacher supplies to pass on to a new generation of teachers, who will hopefully have even half the passion I did for the job. It’s sad, but I am learning things come…and things go. It’s all part of the circle of life. People, things, events. I just hope to make the most of the time I have here.

Hi, you’re tagged again, because I find myself having too much free time again. No, but seriously, if you could have Aislyn repond these, it’d be great!

Starting now! This will be much fun reading during recess – I’m a teacher, so I need something else to do sometimes than just marking the inevitable parpers…

Your story sound great, I just hate to get into a story and began reading it to only find the author has discontinue writing it. Contact me if you ever write one you plan on finishing.

Thank you~ Haha, unfortunately I have a pretty bad streak of not finishing, which is ironic because I hate to be left hanging as well. My most recent story I truly do plan on completing though, I just needed a break. When the time comes, I’ll be sure to reach out 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks, after reading so many stories on WordPress that were unfinished I begin looking to make sure they were complete or still writing the story. I am hooked on “Dust to Dust.”

That’s a smart move, so you don’t get dissapointed, haha. I don’t believe I’ve heard of/encountered that story, I’ll get around to checking it out once I’ve thinned out my current reading list 🙂
